Yukimura is the captain of Rikkaidai's tennis team. He, together with his vice-captain Sanada Genichirou and friend Yanagi Renji, is known as the Three Demons since all three of them were regulars in Rikkai Dai's tennis team in their first year and were instrumental in Rikkai winning the nationals in previous years. Yukimura has achieved the Muga no Kyouchi and is generally considered on of the best junior high players in Japan, if not THE BEST. In the winter prior to the current school year, Yukimura collapsed and was hospitalized. In the hospital, he was diagnosed and treated for a neurological disease called Guillain-Barré syndrome. He has had a successful surgery to treat this disease and has returned to lead Rikkai back to it's place as the number one junior high tennis team.

Generally, Yukimura's a calm, gentle, soft spoken and polite boy. He's known to be kind, but he can be very aggressive and ruthless if he wants something. He is very strong willed (he has to be, in order to be captain of such a disparate group of people) and is a mild perfectionist who expects the same from those around him.
